Recharge Climate Conditioning when charging
 

Hey all, just got a used 2022 xc90 recharge and I am setting up the Volvo connect app for climate conditioning. Two questions,

1. When it is charing can I use climate conditioning in the garage and door shut? As in, will it be able to heat the car without running the gas engine creating dangerous fumes? Since its summer I have experimented with cooling with out gas engine running and it, so far, has gone electric only for cooling.
2. Can you adjust the climate temp, or is it just a fixed "comfortable" temp? It doesn't prompt or show an option to adjust the temp that you have it set to when pre-conditioning the cabin while charging.

I do not know about #1, but for #2, it is preset to 72F whether it is cooling or warming the car.

I have a 2022 S60 Recharge and I can definitely run it safely in an enclosed space since the climate control is electric. The engine does not turn on in order to condition the cabin. This applies to both heat and cooling.

At least on my car, the app does not allow adjusting the pre-conditioned temperature. The manual says it is simply designed to reach a "comfortable temperature". In my experience it does a pretty good job of making the cabin comfortable in either hot or cold weather.
