XC60 Software 2.10 experience?
I didn’t really notice anything different. Apparently, among a couple of other things that you wouldn’t expect to notice, it corrected a centering issue with the map in the instrument panel, but I had not noticed it not being correctly centered to begin with. I will say, however, that the update did take a lot longer than the previous ones (seemed to take the full 90 minutes or so).
Same as @ScottXC60, long install but no obvious changes. I’m interested in this item from the release notes;
The heater was a topic of intense interest last winter, although I didn’t experience any problems. It’s 90 degrees here today, so won’t be using heat anytime soon!
- Improvements to prevent loss of heating function for PHEV´s with high-voltage coolant heater (Standard and Extended Range PHEVs only).

The update was related more towards the hybrid system since in some vehicle the check engine light would come due to a software glitch. Most people don’t noticed until the check engine light comes on though. Also towards the parking brakes but that still on the works as of now. You’ll see a parking brake not available message coming on unless the harness has a broken wire.

I have a 2022 XC60 Recharge ER and got the email notifying me that the software 2.10 update was available. I had the automatic software update button on. I did not get any notification that it was being downloaded and that it was ready for installation. I just had an online chat with Volvo, and while the person was very nice, the upshot was that she said it was odd, and I should visit my dealer, which will be a hassle as usual. She said if I drive the car, it should automatically download so that I can then hit an installation button. I have been driving the car and nothing shows up. Also my center screen above the steering wheel went blank a couple days ago. Has anyone experienced this and have any suggestions that I can try by myself before I go through my dealer? Maybe doing the defroster button reset will help, but candidly I’m concerned that will undo something that is working. Thanks very much.
