Just replaced my 2024 XC60 recharge tires. They were still new with 1,200 miles on them. This was my choice. The Continental tires I had were a bit noisy and did not take bumps well. I have used Hankook for years. I sold the tires on the XC 60 and put on Hankook Tires. I've attached pictures of the Hankook tires. I've never seen tires like these using high density foam. I understand some manufacturers do this. Unless I'm wrong I think it's designed to reduce road dollars and it does work. These tires are great. They have strengthened sidewalls to deal with the additional weight of an EV type vehicle.
I've now had the tires for a week and put on about 700 miles. the ride with these tires is excellent and the noise is reduced from my other continentals. There is a little bit of noise but part of that might be because of the design of the sidewalls as there is less give so that the tire can handle the additional weight from an EV type vehicle. I also noticed that the car has a little bit less role when it goes through corners, result of tire design.
I really like these tires and will continue to use them on all my vehicles.
yes that is the noise suppression system several vendors uses. The only downside I'm aware of is the foam insert can make puncture repair difficult. you can google for more info on that topic. As to the fit for an EV, the tire markings show the tire's load rating which should be matched to your vehicle (usually that spec is shown on the placard in the door jamb or filler door).

The high-density foam in your new Hankook tires is designed to reduce road noise and improve ride comfort by absorbing vibrations and shocks from the road. The strengthened sidewalls are also a great feature, particularly for electric vehicles like the XC60 Recharge, as they provide added strength and stability.

I've had these tires for a week now and driven about 700 miles. The ride quality is excellent, and the noise level is noticeably lower compared to my previous Continentals. While there is still a bit of noise, it could be due to the sidewall design, which provides less give to support the additional weight of an EV-type vehicle. I also noticed improved stability through corners, likely due to the tire's design.

Yes, that’s a noise-suppression system used by several manufacturers, though the foam insert can make puncture repairs more difficult. For EV fitment, check the tire’s load rating on the sidewall and match it to the specification listed on your vehicle’s door-jamb or charge-port placard. free cine for pc
