04.5 2.4i, seeking customization tips
 

Hi all,

I have recently purchased my second Volvo, a black/black L 2004.5 s40 2.4i with 58k miles. Since I use the other one as a family car (a V50 wagon), I was looking into putting some customization into this one.

It's an automatic (unfortunately) since no one else in the house can drive stick, but I'd like the car to look sportier than it currently does. This would pertain mostly to exterior accessories, like tinted windows or kits. I'd also like an OEM spoiler but am concerned with cost (my overall budget is right around $2k)

Could anyone give some advice on what to get, as well as how much the cost would run?

I'd go with the OEM body fit. Should run you about $700ish from Tascaparts.com

Lower the car, and get some sporty wheels like the TDR 1.2's...

+1 on lowering, tinting, spoiler, body kit, wheels, etc. That just about covers all exterior mods that don't look ricer.
