06 S40 interior dome lights
 

We just bought an 06 S40 and when we were looking at it I noticed that none of the interior dome lights including the visor mirror lights were working. I figured it was just a blown fuse and would replace it when we got home. On the way home I was playing with them and when I pressed the button to turn on the driver's reading light (or whatever its called) it came on but was weak. I guess this means that its not a fuse. I am probably going to try to tackle the problem tonight when she gets home with it but thought I would see if anyone had any ideas first. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot.

Did you check the fuses?

That's going to be the first thing that I do check and that was what I initially figured the problem was when we bought it. While driving it home though, one of the reading lights came on for a second or two while I was playing with it. That would rule out a bad fuse wouldn't it?
