Default 08 s40 2.4l Headgasket Kit ??

Hello im new to forum, but have found a lot of very useful information. One thing i couldn't find was a complete list of gaskets, seals, gasket maker, etc. of everything i will need as far as parts go to do a headgasket start to finish. Also does anybody know the correct parameters for a compression test i just did a cold compression test WOT, Wet and dry. these are the results. assuming #1 Cyl. is closest to belt or on the left if your facing vehicle from the front.
#1 dry 135 wet 159
#2 dry 130 wet 149 psi was slowly bleeding off
#3 dry 115 wet 160
#4 dry 125 wet 140 after looking at guage noticed it to was dropping lost 5psi in 30sec.
#5 dry 135 wet 149
Should i put back together and warm enginge to do a hot/warm test? This all started because i checked the oil and it didnt even read on the dipstick and the oil was changed a month ago. so i put a quart in and still wasnt reading. thats when i noticed the coolant reservoir was full of oil. i was hoping it was the oil cooler so i tied the coolant lines together and ran engine for about 20min then took for a ride around the block hoping to see oil coming out of the coolant side of oil cooler. but nothing came out. at this point i drained coolant and oil and noticed the coolant smelt like gasoline. i took the oil filter out and put it in a cup and after a day looked at tit and it was mostly coolant that drained out of the filter. im thinking headgasket at this point. but maybe im wrong or im not doing something i should. Im semi new to the volvo. but i have a 7.3l ford f350 that i have done quite a bit of wrenching on as well as friends and prior vehicles. please i would greatly appreciate any help or suggestions

Thanks

the wet/dry looks to suggest the valves are fine and may be closer on a warm engine. Since you are losing oil into the coolant, is there any coolant in the oil? you may have a head gasket issue or you may have an oil cooler issue (pushing oil into the radiator. Not sure if that problem is possible on your model but there are other threads talking about the coolers being a cause of mixing of fluids... worth a look before you tear the head off.

Thank you for the quick response! Yes i have both oil in coolant and coolant in oil. I tested the oil cooler in a method i seen onliine. where i disconnnected the two coolant lines running to the oil cooler (on back of oil pan) and used a fitting to tie those coolant lines together.. .i just by passed it. i then ran the car for about 20 min until it was at normal operating temp. and drove it about a half mile the theory being if the oil cooler were bad or the reason for the mixing of fluids. that i would have gotten oil to come out of the coolant side of the oil cooler. after the test drive i inspected the oil cooler and i couldn't find any oil at all coming out of coolant side.

I just got back inside with the HOT compression test numbers and they are as follows
all test have been WOT 7-8 cycles

#1 temp. 120 F dry 150 wet 165

#2 temp 120 F dry 151 wet 168

#3 temp 118 F dry 154 wet 166

#4 temp 118 F dry 153 wet 167

#5 temp 124 dry 147 wet 169

Im a little confused now because those numbers from what ive read are in the acceptable range? Another question i have is that if the headgasket leak is just inbetween two of block ports (from oil port to coolant port) could i still get good compression in my cylinders?

Also when i reinstalled the spark plugs and wires and fired up the car to warm it up it ran really bad. could this be because of the oil i put in cylinders for wet test? i used about 3/4 of a plastic water bottle cap in each cylinder? the car acted as a spark plug or two was fouled out maybe from the oil?

Again thank you very much
