Default 2000 S40 no gauges

OK, so in October, I bought a 2000 Volvo S40 Turbo with 128k miles for $2400. I knew it would require some work, but it drove great for the most part, maybe a little bumpy (needs suspension work), but for the price, was in good condition and I was able to pay cash. My check engine light is on and the follow codes are being shown when i check it at Autozone: p0128, p0420, p0014.

Unfortunately those arent my biggest concern right now. This morning when leaving for an appointment, I noticed that none of my gauges worked and no digital displays either. So no speedometer or rpm, fuel, and temperature gauges. I noticed the cruise control light would turn on, but it didnt seem to set anymore. Everything else seems to work fine, including the gauge backlights and check engine lights, etc. So i figured a fuse needed replaced. Couldnt find anything in the manual that i thought it might be, so i took it to the dealer and had them check all the fuses (they checked the ones under the hood and drivers side) and all seemed fine. So crap, must be more complicated. Luckily i didnt have to pay anything for the 10 minutes they checked things out. Said it would be $120 for the first hour for them to do a diagnostic and I told them i would come back to them about that. They hadnt checked the engine codes, so i took it to autozone and did it myself in hope that it might shed some light, but from my research, they are not related to the gauge issue.

Any ideas on what could be causing the gauges to no longer work? I can temporarily deal with no speedometer, but not knowing my fuel status is a bit frustrating. Especially since I put in about a shot of Lucas fuel injector cleaner on each full fill up, so topping it off with fuel and trying to add the right amount of cleaner would be a pain. Unfortunately the car knocks like crazy if i dont use it. I do use 89 octane BP gas. But I guess that topic is more appropriate for a completely different thread.

Ok, so i probably jumped around a bit to much, but hopefully I have provided at least a little useful information. I am not a mechanic, but I am pretty handy, though unfortunately do not really have tools to do much myself and no garage to work in. I do have a driveway and its the weather is getting better out. =P Obviously though, since i bought this car at such a low price, money isnt something I have a lot of, so just trying to do whatever I can to get the most out of this car while being as frugal as possible. Thanks for your time!
