07 S40 2.4i Vibration Under Acceleration Between 30 & 45 MPH
Hey Guys -
I haven't been on in a while because the car has been running great until recently. Lemme start from the beginning. I am currently driving a 2007 Volvo S40 2.4i. Recently it has developed a vibration during acceleration. I have been researching this problem and it seems it happens a lot on the early '00s S40's. At any rate, as I mentioned the car shimmys at varying degrees depending on how much gas you give it most noticeably between 30 and 45 MPH. It is not noticeable at all above or below these speeds. As soon as you let off the gas or pop it into neutral the shake immediately stops. I'm trying to figure out what might cause this because I'd like to get it resolved as quickly as I can.
Anyone have any ideas or insights? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
