Ok, I just got a 2000 Volvo S40 and i was looking for some low cost upgrades. I have never really upgraded any car that I have had. I love the way handles, and drives. It is without a doubt the best car i have ever been in. So, if anyone could help me out with some low cost parts that i can get to boost the Fuel Econ. and Performance, I would be very happy!

 

no upgrades will come cheap with your s40...you need to be more specific on what you want as far an upgrade...id be happy to help...

 

Any upgrade will do lol....I figured I would start with an intake, or something simple, and work my way up from there. And of course I am open to suggestions.

okay...for an air intake setup, i never heard of this company..can't remark on the quality you'll be getting...You can go to eurosporttuning.com and buy their ram air intake, which will give you nice sound and maybe an hp or two...and as far as chipping, a couple companies that us s40 modders use are Upsolute, Rica, IPD..
