2001 S40 turbo having problems

so, i have a 2001 1.9t model with 130k miles on it. the turbo is definitely burning oil, idk seals blown? bushing blown? there is a ton of oil all inside the hotside charge pipe and IAC valve at the throttle body.

question is...what kind of turbo is this? IHI? Borg Warner? and are they expensive to rebuild? are there any other manufacturers that make replacement models that are better/better in value?

if someone has a rebuilt one for sale i'd probably be very interested in it.

also, another thing i noticed is there is a vacuum port coming off of the compressor housing and the hose has become severed and has oil caked all over it. this runs to an electical solenoid/switch looking thing that is clipped onto the stock air intake box, then there is a hose that runs back to the wastegate vacuum port. is this an electronic boost controller? do these cars have some sort of variable boost control. it made me very curious and i want to install a boost gauge to see what differences there are, but i don't
think the turbo is working properly and so it's probably not making full boost as it is.

thanks, Alex
