Default 2004 S40 T5 Turbo Air leak

My check engine light came on so I read the codes. It reads "P2281 Air Leak Between MAF and Throttle Body" and "P2187 System too Lean At Idle". I can't seem to find a service manual for this thing can anyone
get me going in the right direction to find the leak? I looked around and don't see any broken/cracked hoses however I'm not very savy on where all the parts are at that may cause this.

Thanks, Brent

Default System too lean at idle

Brent,

Did you ever discover the problem with your car? I have a 2005 S40 T5 and I'm getting the same code (system too lean at idle 1st stage). I've seen no change in performance, but it makes me concerned to have a recurring check engine light, even after being cleared a few times. Sorry I don't have any advice/help, but I'd appreciate hearing how things have gone with your car. Thanks.

Sandy, I took all the hoses apart and made sure there were no leaks and the air flow sensor was clean. Then made sure the connections were secure. Then i reset the check engine light and the message didn't
come back.
