I am having a problem with my LED brake lights. The drivers side LED brake light blinks 3 times when the brake is pressed and then goes out. It isn't a very bright light that flashes. The left side and center brake lights work fine.
I am just starting to work on the problem so, there isn't any other informations yet.

 

I am having the same issue with my 2008 S40 but it's the passenger side. I even pulled the housing off since that is the only way to access the LED. I don't want to go any further than that because it's not like there is a direct replacement that I can just buy. What do I tell the police when they give me a ticket, umm sorry I can't change it because Volvo made it with a part that isn't easily found. I really hope someone has an answer because it's I either take the car in or I find the part number on the LED and swap it out off the pc board myself provided it comes out of the housing.
