Air condition flaps are not turn from heat to cold and vice versa
Volvo S40/V50, European Edition 1.8L model 2008. Engine Code B4184S11.
Air condition Flaps are not turning from Heat to Cold and vice versa. I manually turn the flaps from the driver's bottom side using a screwdriver from a hole I created, but it isn't an enjoyable job.
So the problem I suspect is that the flaps are stuck. Re-Calibration of the CCM can possibly solve the problem? What are my options here? To disassemble the whole dashboard and try to repair/replace the flaps or the flaps motor itself?
I didn't visit any technician until now to get any VIDA error codes that may CMM return. So, can I manually reset the CCM module? How to know if the motor is bad or just the flaps are stuck? Can other ODB diagnostics from a 3rd party manufacturer re-calibrate the CCM module?
Regards,

start by getting the codes read. that will tell you if the motor is bad etc. its possible that the motor's actuator rod to the door has detached as well. Any other things going on line a flashing REC light etc?
Can you please explain the motor's actuator rod to the door? What exactly you are talking about?
PS: Inside the car's dashboard no lights are on.
