What cause this problem? What I have to do? is this iportant malfuntion? Does anyone seen this indication before?

My car is s40 2001 1.6

I"m searching for this answer also. I read the codes on mine and it appears that airbag codes are different? Anyway, could not clear/check with my code reader. Mine randomly came on also last week.

The airbag light is on a different 'code' system from what I can tell so far.

I borrowed an ODBII reader to check it all out but no airbag codes. You can go to your local auto parts store/shop and they can check it in a minute or 2. I had the 'check engine light' come ona while backand it turned out to be a bad sensor. I got the code reader to figure out which sensor was bad and used the code reader to reset that code.

Thanks a lot, how easy was to check it all with the ODBII reader, is it user friendly?

Thanks again

A generic OBDII reader will not read airbag codes. You need to take it to a dealer because airbags are nothing to screw around with if you do not know what you are doing.
