Cranks to long before it starts
 

Hello,

I have a 2000 Volvo s40, and I am having a problem at start up. This issue is intermittent and weather does not seem to be a factor. Sometimes when I start the car it takes five to seven cranks before it starts and other time it starts right away on the first crank. I have the battery checked and replaced the spark plugs. Even had a shop hook it up to a computer and there were no problems. Any ideas or things I can do? :confused:

Heat/AC blower does not turn off
 

Hello,

I have a 2000 Volvo s40 and the heat/ac blower stays on high at all times. I am able to change the temperature, and where it blows (feet, front panel, etc.), but I can not turn the fan down or off. It seem that it's on the 4th setting at all times and I can turn it on the 5th, but can't turn it down or off. :mad:
