Default Front vs Rear Sway Bar

I just bought an S40 T5 and love it! I've heard adding a sway bar can drastically improve the ride quality of volvos(not that I have any complaints). I've done some looking around and it seems that most aftermarket parts companies sell rear sway bars instead of front. Why is this? Is there a big difference in the ride when a rear sway bar is installed vs a front sway bar?

Thanks,
Eric

The front would be a major undertaking and really is not necessary. Changing the rear does really make a difference. For the front, strut upgrades work well.
