Fuel filter disconnects

I've got an '01 S40.
Its time to change the fuel filter.
How do I disconnect the fuel line connections and then connect them to the new filter?!?! I've never seen connectors like these.
Internet searches say that some fuel filter connectors need a connector disconnect tool, but I can't tell if I need one of those.
Advance thanks; Jim

From IPD website. Customer feedback:

"Easy job thanks to quick disconnect buttons and a pressure release valve right next to filter."

You see the buttons on the quick disconnect fittings? Apparently there are 2 styles of fittings so not sure which you have. I have replaced my filter on my 2001 and cannot remember exactly how I did it. I remember the tool I bought from the parts store did not work.

Update
The fitting I had trouble with is the square one w/ the pressure relief valve & 2 blue buttons.
My retaining band was broken so I couldn't get much force applied while I pinched the buttons, even when using a small vice-grips to pinch the buttons (I was working in the driveway with the car lifted by a floor-jack).
I sprayed the connector w/ WD-40 and was able to spin the filter in the connector.
I thought of using a bigger vice-grips, but I would have been SOL if the connector broke.
So I took the car to my Volvo dealer. My main reason for going to the dealer is I figured that'd be the best place for it if the connector did break. It took them a bit of time to get it off, but they only charged me for the half-hour quoted (sweet).
Incidently; they put on the fuel filter I bought from AutoPartsWarehouse.com, but it leaked at one of the connections. The volvo filter cost a WHOLE LOT more, but it's working!!
