Gearbox flywheel and discs

Hello,
I am new to this forum so if i make some mistakes do not take it to the heart 😀.
I have questions about gearbox and disc break change. I have been told that flywheel (if i call it corectly ) should be changed at around 160000 km. My discs are about 3 mm worn out. Should i change those or they can still be used.
My car is s40,model year 2010 around 140000 km on it.

the flywheel is the clutch component attached to the crankshaft. You wouldn't know if it was worn unless you have clutch issues (shuttering/slippage and the typical repare is to resurface not replace the flywheel. You'd have to remove the transmission to inspect as well. For the brakes, the discs are also referred to as rotors. Each rotor has a stamping on the edge to note the minimum thickness when measured by calipers. You'd need to inspect and measure but generally speaking a new disc would be in the 25mm range and the minimum is 23mm so if you are worn 3mm, its time for new rotors. So bottom line is, you need to replace the rotors when you install the new pads. Also you should replace the sliding pins and clean out any dirt from the outide of the rubber boots over the caliper pistons.
