Has anyone disassembled the bucket seats in a S40/C70 (P3)?

I know for fact the buckets on early 90s GM power seats bolted into the seat frame but other marques welded them to it (Audi). Has anyone worked with the buckets from a P3 S40/C70 to know anything about them? Thanks if advance.

curious as to what you are looking to do. Have you looked at any dealer web stores to see the diagrams for the seat components including the rails? Have you looked at a car of the noted chassis version to see how the rails are attached to the floor pan? Just a word of caution, disconnect the battery before doing any disassembly as the seats have the SRS side bags in them as well as the sensors.

Two reasons:

1. I was looking to build a new desk chair at some point, the current one is from a 1989 Cadillac Deville (and Volvo's seats are probably the best ones possible).
2. I was looking at doing a seat swap in my Toyota and if the seats were bolted into the Volvo frame, I could have an interface fabricated between the P3 seat and the Toyota's existing manual control seat frame. I asked about P3 because the S40/C70 were of similar dimensions to my Toyota and the chance of a good seat increases with the newer models.

Since this post I have learned Lexus used the New MC platform for the CT200h, and based on my initial research I think they may be a direct bolt in frame and all. Thanks for replying.
