Multiple random error messages
 

Hi, Everyone

I have a Volvo S 40 2.0 2006/7 model with +- 10000Km on the clock.
This morning the car started displaying the Oil light / low oil level message, but when i stopped at the gaurage to checkthe oil level was fine. It kept doing this for a while and then it dissapeared again, but soon it was back, now also it displayed child lock error / service required. The service intervals is every 20000Km, so that is not correct forit to state that a service is required...The car is still under warranty and I will take it into the dealer, but I was wondering if anyone else had this problem and also what might be the problem, so that I at least have some information about it when i go to the dealer and that they can't give me the run around ( and say it's the tyres ;) ) if you know what i mean..

I think there is a software update to remedy this issue. The dealer should be able to fix you right up.

Is there any specific version of the software to be aware of or does anyone know what the latest version is?

The latest version overwrites any previous versions.
