Hi its me again braderzMMX, i've still got a problem with my S40 1.8 1997 VOLVO, after looking over the car a few times and scratching my head quiet a lot while staring at my haynes manual and thinking OH MY GOD, here is the problems i have got:

1. Still got a bit of white smoke coming from my exhaust with a smell of petrol.

2. There's a distinctive rattling coming from underneath my car in the middle of the exhaust system

3. loss of rev's to the engine when putting my foot down on the accelerator

4. stuttering from the engine when accelerating.

the car has had to go into the garage last week because the speed control valve was dirty and was sticking leading to a massive increase in rpm's when sitting idly.

!!!!AGAIN ( important ) my car is a s40 1997 model sedan and does not contain a turbo of any sort!!!!

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, can someone help, i can't drive the car in this condition, and i'd like to think/ hope that i can sort this problem out at home.
