O2 sensor? HELP
 

Hi, i was wondering if someone can help me out and give me more info about this problem. Basically the car's check engine light came on when first started the car then drove home like that then today i took it to advanced auto parts and ran the diagnostic check with the device and itgave me the codefor O2 sensor.

The guy there told me that they dont go bad till 100,000 or so, therefore i should just erase the code and so i did and ran the diagnostic again and no fault was found.

now what should i do, should i just ignore it? and if it really is the o2 sensor will the light come on again then i get it fixed? thanks guys any info is appreciated

and oh yeah sorry , i have a 01 volvo s40 with 56k on it

I would just reset. If it is bad the check engine light will come back on.
