Only Heat will Come out of Drivers Side Vent2005 s40
 

About three weeks ago only very hot air would come out of my drivers side vents. This only happened for one day and then it worked like normal. It started again three days ago and has not gone back to normal.

No matter what setting the temperature is on or if it is drivers only or passenger only or both (I have dual temperature controls) it will always come out very hot. I don't think it has to do with the A/C because it happens even when it is set to 'normal' cold. The passenger side reacts as it should.

Any ideas? Thanks for any information.

The servos are out of sync. Unfortunately, you will have to take it to Volvo service for a software update/reload. This seemed to be fairly common on the 2005.
