Hi i,m trying to change my standard airfilter to a cone shaped one for my 2001 volvo s40 1.8L.
But i can't because of the airflow switch i need a MAF ADAPTER i can't find one locally or on the internet for a vovlo s40,

i don't want an induction kit just to change the airfilter can anyone tell where i could purchase one of these adapters

This is a picture of a Mass flow sensor for an S40 off of E-bay. It is round on both sides.
You can put the filter on the side you remove from the stock Air box.

 

AAAAhh i get you now so there is a round lip on the mas sensor after the bolted side excellent i,l give that a shot
