Really? Promoting d5t5 junk on a volvo forum? Did you even really tried?
What's the point of this forum if not to help others for FREE not promoting other bull****! Yeah change dim, icm, phm with vdash so smart pay for your stupidity when u can use a clone dice tool and flash english (found them on net).
If you do not know how to help is better to not post anything.
Thanks for nothing.

Unfortunately new volvo firmware has to be purchased , so your best is to take it to the dealer , otherwise leave as is , all my other cars have the option to change , but not on this Volvo , perhaps the never models have it?
I dont know anyone that has managed to do this so if you do let us know
Meaning in English
1 Low beam Bulb faulty
2 Stability and Traction control
3 2 new announcements or messages

Thank you richardkonrad for your answear, more help for a fellow member than from a promoting bot like mt6127.
@Dingus he knows ****, the fact he directed me to a sell video from one of the most common issue with volvo's sais for itself, promotional bot. And like i said if you do not have anything to help please stop spamming this threat.
I don't give a fk about what he think he knows about volvo and he need to apologise for his behavior, you do not answear with ask google, only stupid kids behave like that.
@mt6127 Why this forum have to be toxic and why it came from a super moderator? And if you rely on google so much to "know" can't you ask : "how to hang yourself?" maybe it helps? #sarcasm off

K33, my intent was to offer a "teach to fish" moment. When it comes to a car's software modules there's two likely solutions 1) there's a user option that's posted publicly - which is why I suggested you start with Google. My example was to show you that I was able to get a range of hits with a simply worded query and that there's a ton of good content on Youtube. 2) the software setting is Volvo proprietary and requires a tool such as VIDA DICE to change or update the module. Common sense says start with the owner's manual then google with a range of queries to see what you get (including related posts on several forums including this one). Final stop is to call your dealer and see what they say as to cost / approach to solve your language settings issue.

it would seem you can get some kind of software package to change the language,
I have 06 (shows as 07 model) I looked on vida I can select different language packages for my but i know its not the same as 05, im not sure what you can and cant do on an 05. But you have to buy the softwares and apply them to the car and i dont think vida lets me buy them, or i have to be in canada or a registered volvo specialist or something im not 100% sure :/
Obviously you googled it VDASH but shows an 08 model :/
If you take the car to a dealership, and talk to the technitian, then they'l give you a quote. I guarentee its not going to be a rediculous price. But you could go to a volvo specialist and get a quote off them, maybe they will be a bit cheaper again. Its a software update, its hardly hard work or time consuming. PURELY GUESSING if i could buy the software, and if your car can have the software change for language, then i'd guess it will be maximum £60, but probably alot less - then labour.. you might get a specialist to do it for you for few pounds less. You might even be able to get the dealership to do it for that. Its litterally nothing plug in and click buttons. I dare you to say that to the volvo people you speak to. d5t5 junk on a volvo forum? its a volvo wtf are you on about. Your asking for help man - only trying to help.
I dont think your gonna change the language for free. These cars dont do that. BUT IF THEY DO teach us.
