Hi
i have the above vehicle.
the issue i have is that my remote key fob does nothing.
I have had the key tested and it is good.
the doors all lock from inside on drivers side button.
i have today removed the alarm siren and found the internal batterys in bad shape and a singe on the circuit board.
my question is this: does the alarm siren have any relevance to the central locking/key fob?
i am renewing the battery pack and repairing the circuit board.
by the way! The alarm siren is located under the scuttle cover on the pas side..
i read that it was in the inner arch!
( another hour wasted! )
anyway if anyone can throw some light on this it would be greatly appreciated.
