S40 2008 Needed Oil Change , Now it Won’t Start
I was driving and my service date was close , it was running rough at first then it stalled on me . I ended up putting more oil in and it was running fine , I realized I crack my oil pan so it was leaking oil sooner than expected . I put some plastic cement to fill up the leak temporarily , then I was driving home and I put the car in manual mode and then all the lights on the dash was blinking on and off , and the car stalled on me . Smoke was coming from the bottom of the engine , car still won’t start . Even my battery ended up dying in like 2 days . I tried to put more oil and a jumpstart ,car still will not start . PLEASE NEED HELP

Smoke coming from the bottom may just be the oil leaking onto the exhaust. The cracked oil pan has to be fixed but only after you figure out what is wrong.
You really need to take it to someone who knows Volvos. It may be a simple fix to replace the oil pan or it may be the engine is toast. Or somewhere in between. Far too many variables. You need to fill the oil and check oil pressure. And then check compression. Does the engine make any knocking noises? Lots of stuff to find out.
