Hi im wondering if anyone knows if the s40 t5 and c30 have compatible exhuast systems...the engines are the same but im not sure about the exhaust im really hoping they r because i found a guy who made a custom 3 inch down with test pipe 250 shipped so if any one knows i would be greatly appreciate it ...

Also with test pipe installed will car past inspection ?

If your state does SMOG testing then a test pipe wont pass.

I dont know if they are the same....Tech might know?

Yes in NY they do SMOG....
So would buying an evolve or ne other exhausts make me fail as well?

 

I passed with the Evolve Down pipe and EST cat back. And I'm NY state also.

Remember turbos need free flowing mufflers, like magna flow....The muffler shops should know this.
A high flow cat would be good, ~$200
