Scratches on Windshield

I understand that Volvo's bumper to bumper warranty is just that.It would be covered I think if you were not at fault and it were some sort of manufacturing defect.As for cause, do you have cats sleeping on your car? Has somebody keyed your windshield? Parked next to a tree during high wind?Have defective windshield wipers or something caught in them? Just guessing as these are things that have damaged glass on my cars in the past. BJ

Good luck getting them to replace it. When it comes to glass dealers usually blame the damage on you, whether it be a crack or scratches. To them its the same as if a cart ran into your car at the grocery store and put dent in your car, they arent going to do the body work for you. But if you are convinced that the scratches were there when you recieved the car or can find something else to put the blame on them I would try to get them to replace it
