Snow chains for S40?
 

Hi, it looks like I might need to take my Volvo S40 up into the Lake Tahoe region in the next week and I'm thinking maybe I should consider getting some chains for the tires.

I've never bought chains before and I'm wondering if simply getting the tire chains appropriate for the tire size is good enough, or if perhaps there are Volvo S40-specific features that need to be taken into consideration? I obviously don't want to destroy my car doing this....
