Stopping with depressed brake in D or N.
I need to get enlightened since I trust this forum the most
Here is the question.
In complete stop in D (AT),
applying :
1) Foot brake only
2) Hand brake only
Do they make the engine work different from another?
I tried both, And in 2) case, I feel more vibration than 1).
So I wonder if foot brake has something to do with ECU or something..
The case of S40 is maybe just a feel, but.
My mom's Renault Latitude (2010 with CVT) obviously shows different sign.
When the foot brake depressed, it gets smooth.
Apart from that, when E-brake applied only without foot brake, it vibrates and idles like a bull.
Foot brake and E-brake, it gets smooth again.
Why does it happen?
Thank you so much for your contribution
