I am experiencing a problem on my Volvo S40 2.4I 2005 model. It has a strange sound in the engine. It displayed power failure the there after it says antiskid temporary off and the steering wheel become hard to turn. I suspect power stering failure please help me. the car can start but the steering wheel is hard to turn

 

First check the fuses under the hood. The power steering pump is electrical.

 

It was found that, the alternator was damaged
