Exclamation Tail Light Fuse?

Both tail lights on my daughter's 2004 S40 have gone out at the same time, and I suspect the fuse is blown. The problem is I can find nothing online clearly identifying which fuse supplies these lamps, i.e. fuse 36, 54, etc. Any help is appreciated.

There are actually 4 taillamp bulbs - 2 on each side. And they are not fused - (fuse f4 and f18 in 15/31, the fuse box under the left side of the hood are not just for the taillamps) The CEM powers them and has "circuit breakers' that will turn power off to circuits that short out. Sometimes it takes reading and erasing stored codes in the CEM for the power to be restored. If that does not work you may have a problem with the CEM requiring repair or replacement. A company such as Xemodex repairs those. Older Volvos had fuses - they were always fused left and right so if a fuse blew you would only lose one side. I have circled the right side bulbs in the picture (10/17 is the right taillamp)

Default Cem

So if the CEM is bad, what else would not be working?

Thanks for the help. This unfortunately sounds like something I will have to schedule for service at the local Volvo dealer...

If the dealer wants to replace the CEM I doubt they would use a product from Xemodex (or another rebuilder). A new CEM (31327215) is advertised (google) for $570-$750. A new one will need software installed in it also to make it work - another $150-200. So hope it's not a CEM.
