Default Is there any benefit in applying a chip tune on S4 '02?

Firstly, not from the US, but my question should still be valid either way. Is there any benefit in a chip tune for non-turbo 1.6 109hp petrol S40 from 2002? The reason is, 109hp for the weight this engine is trying to drive is a bit too much and the acceleration uphill isn't anything to brag about(sometimes with no passengers and uphill 3rd gear is best otherwise I can floor the gas pedal and the RPMs dont even budge;likely even fall in 4th or 5th gear)

Thank you.

probably not. Most ECU tunes are for turbo engines where you can demand more boost upping HP. By example, the T4 turbo is the same block as the 1.9T but produces 40 more hp (bigger turbo, more boost). For an NA, about all a chip tune can do is advance spark not create more air. Even going to tune with a free flow exhaust and intake probably won't net out more than 10 HP and may demand premium gas.
