Has anyone undercoated their S40 (2004.5 and up)? If so, which product did you choose and have you had any electrical problems because of it? Volvo apparently recommends against it, but I'm just wondering if it can be done. They use quite a bit of salt here on the roads during the winter months, and I would like to protect my car as much as possible.

 

I don't undercoat my vehicles anymore. The processes used on the metal keep rust from being as much of a problem. Plus, with the unibody construction today you don't really have those frame members that used to rust so badly.
