On my 2002 Volvo s40, the right front tire wheel severed a lugnut during service. I went to the Volvo dealer and that lugnut version
has been discntinued. They have made a design change and suggested I get a new one for all four lugnut. I do not want to do that. .It is a significant design change.
I do not want to do that, I just want to replace the broken one and the corresponding bolt. Where can I get a repalcement?
Lugnut and bolt for a 2002 Volvo s40.
Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Just do a google search - the lug bolt that popped up first (the one I'd buy in your situation) is a Dorman part number 610460. Under $2 from Rockauto (before shipping charges). The Dorman 611183 lug nut looks to be a good match at another $1. You can drill down on the rockauto.com website, and select "wheel" once you've entered you vehicle info, and you'll see a categories for lug nuts and lug studs.
