ok so i just get out of class and start heading home and when i put the pedal to the medal it felt like the turbo just died like there was no more" boost" .... it would sound like its doing alot but actually it wasnt ..... and i dont think it reached over 5000 on the highway... could it be i need an oil change ... ive gone like 7000ish miles since my last oil change... i know im a noob

Double ouch!!, Yes 7000miles without a oil change in a turbo...is way tooooo long, i change mine every 5000km.(3200miles), turbos run hotter, therfore they break down the oil faster, change the oil out and see how you go, use a good quality semi or fully synthetic oil, you may have already done some damage.. when did you last change your sparkies.

k i changed the oil out today changed changed my spark plugs and my gas filter... and put in more coolant.... ummm and **** what do you know the same problems are happening i did the dyno thing today and there where 7 codes that popped up one was a cylnder 3 misfire and some others i forgot... it vibrates in first gear.. and takes me so long to speed up to 65 while getting off a ramp going on to the highway... so i had 3 different mechanics drive my car and 2 cameto the conclusion it is a engine coil problem and the other says its a transmission prob... so monday im getting the coil thing done ... and hopefully it will be running like it did a week ago...... any of you guys have this prob and solved it?

 

I wouldn't drive the car until the problem is corrected, or you may need a new engine. Your engine is running under unusual load due to ignition problem.

Replace both the coil packs.They are the only thing that will cause misfires and stumbling on acceleration issue and they are known to go bad.BJ

 

i replaced one of the coil packs and runs alot better maybe even a little better then when i got it .... but imma change the other one out to cause it doesnt run like its fully supposed to
