I'm having a problem with the front passenger door lock on my 2001 S60 2.4T. The door will lock when pressing the button on the door or the FOB, but it will not unlock using the button on the door or the FOB. All other doors work fine. It sounds like the locking mechanism in the door is engaging when trying to unlock it.

I would appreciate any ideas on what the problem might be.

Having the same problem with my 2000 S70. Have the panel off but cant find anything broken.
