2002 Volvo S60

Hi all;

DH has a 2002 Volvo S60 in need of some new tires, treadlife on current tires are non-existent:D

He's thinking Yokohama S drive or YK580 from discount tires.

Or which tire brand do you suggest. I suggested Michelins but of course they are more pricier than Yokohama's.

also how easy is it to fix the door handle??

The one on his drivers side is popping out, I don't know how he even gets out of the car!!!!

I check the passenger door behind the driver seat and that door also does not open from the inside but opens from the outside, both doors at the back had the child lock UNLOCKED, the one of the right opens fine from the inside.

On the left passenger door, i see those plastic poplets (sorry I know incorrect termininology there), i think you get a flat head screwdriver and pop those out and then unscrew the screws and then take off the door panel???

To be honest I'd rather fix computers than fix the door handle latch of a car.:cool:

HELP :(

yk580's are the best tires I've ever had, I have the yk520's as well (the slightly older model) and they are still amazing. great grip, great tread, great price. the only complaint is there is no rim guard.

We are running the Bridgestone Turanza Serenity's on my wife's 08 S60 2.5T. They handle well, are quiet, and have a 70,000 treadlife warranty. With 45,000 miles on them they have significant tread remaining.
