2004 2.5T AWD - Looking at purchasing
#2
I have limited experience with Volvo, but purchased a 2004 S60 2.5T earlier this year and recommend:
1. Check that instrument panel is working including cluster, message display panel
2. if you have a scanner take that with you to check codes
3. While the car is warning up, check transmission fluid level and color. dipstick is yellow and difficult to find. but its on the left side of the gearbox
4. Make sure your test drive is at lest 20 minutes so that the transmission oil is hot (problems if any will manifest)
5. After test drive check transmission fluid level
6. Ask/check if the drive belt and timing belts have been changed
Make sure stereo is off during test ride.. keep your ears and eyes open
Good luck
