2004 S60 - Steering Rack high pressure input/output

Hey Guys!
This forum has been helping me a ton with restoring a 2004 s60.

My primary project was replacing the steering rack and what a journey it has been. Currently where I sit with it is, I had the rack "rebuilt" (although, I think they misplaced my rack and sent me another volvo rack, just not exactly mine) and it is currently installed. The huge issue I am having is connecting the high pressure lines. My car has the thread in lines, not push in, and the problem I am facing is it appears the lines can only be installed backwards to what I remember from uninstalling my rack. The large threaded hole is on the TOP and the small threaded hole is on the BOTTOM. I installed the hoses as best I could, but when it came to replacing the fluid, the rack wasn't pulling in new fluid and was spewing the fluid in the rack from the repair out of the lower hose. So I guess my question is, am I crazy? Are the holes interchangable? Is this not a compatible rack with my system? Did I just not tighten the threads enough?

Here is a photo of my rack and the input/output:

Here is the steering rack from Bigtime McAlpine's install video on youtube:

The way that my rack is, I can only install the hoses in the opposite way to the image above from youtube. What do I do here?

Thank you!
