Default 2005 Volvo S60 Suspension - Soft or Firm

Thanks to everyone who answered my other threads.

Now that I have been driving my 2005 s60 2.5T for a few days, I noticed that compared to other cars that I have had, American and Japanese, the ride feels firm to me, meaning I feel some of the bumps on the road as I am riding whereas the other cars seemed to absorb some of the shock.

Is this normal for this type of car, too?

the suspension is originally rather firm. causes are the original setup, as well as shock wear. some tires can add to the firm ride. tire pressure should be about 30psi.
