2007 S60 2.5T AWD Auto Power loss issues

2007 S60 2.5T AWD Auto Power loss issues
PLEASE HELP!!!!
If there is anyone out there who has experienced what I am about to explain, the dealer has my car for the second time for this issue.
A few months ago taking a trip from Colorado to Missouri we had issue with the car. While cruise active at 75mph. The car lost acceleration, began to slow down and no response from the throttle. this happened 3 different times through the course of driving. On the way back from there to colorado the car accelerated without warning. again the cruise active and no throttle response. Pulled over shut off the car and restarted, motor went to redline. turned off key and took out. then restarted ran fine...
Now for the fun part. Wife and I took trip from colorado springs to port angeles washington. this time the cruise NOT active...had same issue. car lost acceleration and no throttle response. when this occurs I have tried putting the car in neutral and the engine stalls. If i leave it in drive and get the car off to the side of the road when it comes to a complete stop the engine stalls. Heres the best part...I came 3 feet from hitting a guardrail. this happened 11 times over 3600 mile drive.
THere is no rhyme or reason to when it happens...dealer is at a loss, volvo rep stumped. and wife is afraid to drive car. trying to get the dealer to buy us out of the car and get us into another s60 or s60r.
has anyone else had issue like this that can shed light .....

I've had that issue before with a Mustang. The dealer has looked at this vehicle once before for this issue back in Feb and they had it for a month. They said that they replaced the DEM for the AWD and the Cruise motor. We will see what happens next. I was just wondering if anyone else with the 07 S60 2.5T AWD has seen this issue and can maybe provide some insight.
