Hi all, I just took delivery of a 2012 S60 T6. The car is amaizing! My first Volvo. However, I noticed the interior dome lights do not work and there is no power to the Homelink when I tried to program it.

I found the fuse, #3, was blown and went to replace it. The new fuse blew as soon as contact was made with the fusebox.

Anyone heard of this one before? Where do I start? The manual shows this fuse supplies; Front courtesy lighting,
driver's door power window controls, power seat(s)*, HomeLInk® Wireless Control System*

Now the interesting thing is the power window controls work and so the the power seats. (or is it just the lights to those controls)

Any help will be appreciated.

If you were to let us know what the solution was to your problem it might be helpful to others who might come across something like this.

 

Someone either attempted a repair or replacement of the sunroof and pinched the wiring harness. Wires shorted out. Soldered new wire for the repaired, routed harness properly so it shouldn't be a problem.

Hope this quality of work was not done my a dealer.

 

Going through this same issue right now, where is this wiring harness located exactly? Pics would also help
