Less than 3500 miles, Seems to shift a little funny. Does anyone know if there are software updates for the transmission? Also got a schedule service light that came on, but dealership told me it wasn't due until 10K miles. Thanks!

There may be a software update. The dealer would have to plug it in to see.

As for the light, it also comes in after one year. Maybe the car sat on the lot a while before being sold and the sales person did not reset the light before delivery.

With the Tranny, there is a FZZY logic circuit that learns "your" style of driving.
They explained to me that the circuit can be reset to "default" and re-learn shift points.
I bought the car used off 2 year lease, and it learned her funky style.
The dealer said he'll reset/check it at the next service.

Mostly I feel hard shift points decelerating from 40-20 on off ramps, and shift to second is jumpy if slowly accelerating.

Weird but can be adjusted/learned for different shift points.

Ok thanks, I figured it had the ability to learn shift points.

There is a software update that may have already been performed, but if your in the same boat as me my S60 didn't actually accept the update. Take it to the dealer and have them reinstall the latest firmware.
