I have a 2016 Volvo S60 T5 Premier 2.0 that I just picked up. It was a friend of mine that brought it to a garage because it had a no crank no start issue. When inspecting it they found that it had blown the 350-amp battery fuse, and said it was the starter. They replaced the starter and said that the engine was locked up. I picked up a used engine with the intent of swapping it over and found that the alternator was locked up, and the battery had shorted. I have replaced the battery, alternator and 350-amp fusible link. But still have a no crank situation. When I hit the start button it tells me to hold it in. I can hear some relays click but it does not crank. If somebody holds the start button in, I can jump the starter and get it to turn over and run. Not really sure where to go from here. I also found a small battery in the cowl. I’m pretty unfamiliar with these but am looking for some input. Thanks.
