airbag service light flashing
 

Hello all
Can anyone tell me if the flashing light on the dash for the airbag to be looked at is a MOT fail in England.
Im sure theres nothing wrong with it, because I like lots of others didnt remove the earth lead, before working on the electrics.

mot fail what?

A MOT is something we have to have in England, its a test on your car to make sure its safe etc.
If it fails this test, you dont get a bit of paper could a "MOT certificate", and that means your not aloud to drive it on the road.

I guess you can try a network reset by disconnecting the battery negative and positive and touching them together for 15 minutes. then reconnect...

You sure 15 minutes is long enough! Or should give it a extra 5 minutes (for luck).
