Default Anyone have a strut bar conversion?

does anyone have these? if so, how much does it really help, I just bought a set of Eibach lowering sport springs, for my '04 2.5t w/18" pegasus wheels. What are your thoughts on these strut bar conversions? http://www.quickbrickmotorsports.com/prod_p2strut.html

Well...it turns the factory bar into a chassie brace. It will tighten up the front end for better cornering. Go for it.

SO I contacted taht company that makes it, and it's been about a week and I havn't heard from them. They dont have a phone number, so I think I might be out of luck, it looked that they made a really good product too.... oh well I'll keep trying.....

I heard QBM is no more, BUT IPD still sells their products. See if they have anay left over.

Also...check the fore sell section of swedespeed and volvospeed. See if you can get a used one.

Ya know, I did just a quick yahoo search, and viva performance still sells their stuff, must be their leftovers. I figured with the economy in the pooper, that they might not still be in business. But I found it and purchased it, and it said their stock level was good. So ya problem solved, Thanks!!!!

Cool, Hope you enjoy it! I should probably pick up a set before they're gone.

You should get the IPD swaybars if you haven't yet. Oh yeah...they are awsome!

Thanks for the tip on the sway bars, I'll have to check em out... Kinda regretting not just getting the s60R, since i've put money into it, with the 18" pegs, and doing all these little mods, just ordered Eibach sport springs, so my suspension hopefully will be sweet. Anyways, thanks for all the help. I'm gonna post pics when my springs are on.... Peace!

Man I ordered it last night, they shipped it early today, and its suppossed to be here on monday, that's fast... Definitely recommended. I bought lowering springs on ebay from a legit company, and it's been almost a week, and I'm still waiting on a shipping confirmation!! pain in the ***!

This is the exact item, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Eibac...3A1|240%3A1318 they have been really good with communication, such as: thanks for paying, invoices, that whole deal, so yesterday I sent an email, just to touch base, they responded saying they will ship it as soon as possible, and I figured they'll get it out, it's been five days, and it's friday.... still no shipment confirmation. I've been using ebay forever, never had a shipment this slow.......

Well it's on, and I definitely recommend them!! Easy ten minute install. Really tightens up the front end, and it makes your steering wheel much more responsive, A+

Been a little reluctant to get this because it might accentuate cabin vibration.

The end mounts have bushings which one would think, helps in dampening
some of the engine vibration.

Any comments about the vibration after installing these ?

Actually, on QBM's website, it says that it doesn't affect any vibrations, and I definitely had my doubts. Well It really doesn't add any extra vibrations at all. My car always has had this little vibration while sitting there in drive. This actually cut it a little bit. I know, that doesn't make any sense. I will say that everything is much more solid with this. When you floor it, you don't get that hesitating shake from the engine. This is another thing i definitely recommend. Very Very simple to install as well. Better buy quick, since these guys who made these are out of business...

That's the only website I found them on, you can just do a yahoo search. Might try ebay as well...
