battery voltage low message...what gives?
I have a 2002 S60...a "battery voltage low" message came up, and a few days later I tried to start the car and got absolutely nothing. Had the battery checked, and it still had the dealer battery in it so I had the battery replaced. I also had the alternator checked at AutoZone and they said it appeared to be working properly. However, on my way home from AutoZone, the "battery voltage low" message popped up again. Any ideas on what the problem is and how much it is going to cost to fix?? Any help would be appreciated...Thanks!
If there is a voltage regulator on the alternator itself replace it. I bet something is burned in there, you shouldnt have to replace the whole alternator if autozone says its charging
