Default Boost Question??

Hi I have an 2002 S60 T5 and I was wandering if i can install a boost gage, if so which kind? (any sites..) I preffirably want it on the bar next to my windshield like down the side or a digital one.
Also when should i feel the boost? Also how can i get the most out of it?
Thanks
Paul

Default RE: Boost Question??

1. Yes you can install a boost gauge. Why wouldn't you?

2. What kind? That is up to you. I like Autometer gauges. But there are a lot of other good brands out there.

- Summit Racing
- Egauges (This is where I got mine)

3. I have yet to see a gauge pod for the 60 models that is on the A-pillar. But that doesn't mean one couldn't be made to fit. Talk to Rod @ http://rodrigosilva.wordpress.com/
If you notice on his site it is for the 850's and 70 series models. Still talk to him about what he can do for you.

4. Are you not feeling boost? If not something is really wrong.

5. To get the most out of your car...

- 3" mandrel bent downpipe, have it custom made or buy a premade system from one of the aftermarket companies.
- 2.5" - 3" mandrel bent catback system with a free flowing muffler such as BORLA or MAGNAFLOW. Or purchase one of the premade system available on the Volvo aftermarket.
- Intake, but just getting a good panel filter will do just fine as well.
- ECU upgrade (BSR PPC, RICA, IPD USA)

You will see the most gains from the downpipe and ECU upgrades. Also I wouldn't run more then 17-20 PSI.
